Thanks to this tour, you will live a fabulous adventure in the desert and the high Atlas Mountains of Morocco. You will discover the beauty of the rocky Agafay desert in 4×4 and you will be completely charmed by the famous village of Imlil.
A friendly driver will meet you at your accommodation to leave Marrakech in the direction of the Agafay Desert. At about 30 km drive, you will be facing a breathtaking rocky desert next to the high atlas mountains, the driver will certainly stop to give you the opportunity to admire the views and take pictures.
You will then return to the vehicle to continue on the road and arrive at the Lalla Takerkoust lake, a super interesting resort for nature lovers. Another stop will be on the program to admire the dam!
Then, we leave again in 4×4 to go to the plateau of Kik where several settlements are exposed to the general public. The driver will continue the road to Asni which organizes a very popular Berber market every Saturday. just after a stop is necessary to admire a magnificent views of the Imlil valley and Richard Branson’s Kasbah.
Once arrived in Imlil, a professional English or French speaking guide will be waiting for you to propose you one hour or an hour and a half walk. On this program, you will see the magnificent waterfalls of Imlil and discover Berber villages. Ait Souka, Targa Imoula, Tagadirt …Etc. between fields of fruit, walnut trees, cherries, apples, vegetables and see the highest peak in Morocco Toubkal Mountain (4167 meters) At this stage, you will certainly feel hungry, the guide will takes you to an admirable guest house for lunch in an open terrace with an extremely wide view overlooking the whole valley.
After lunch you have the choice to walk a quarter of an hour to join your driver in the center of Imlil, otherwise he can meet you at the guest house to pick you up and return to Marrakech around 5pm.
