8 days tour from Marrakech to tangier
A mixture of culture will be felt in this 8-day circuit, the departure will be from Marrakech to Tangier and through the Sahara, Fez and Chefchaouen. We will detail the tour to understand what you will do.
A vehicle will be waiting for you at the airport of Marrakech to guide you to the Riad where you will rest, dine and spend the night.
Day 2 : Visit Marrakech
It’s the day you’re going to discover the red city “Marrakech”, so get your cameras ready! A professional guide will show you in one day the most beautiful places of the city, you will visit Bab Er Robb, the Saadies tombs, El Badi Palace, Ali Ben Youssef madrassa, the Kutubia mosque and of course the famous square of Marrakech: Jamaa El Fna.
After this busy morning, you will rest and have lunch. Then, you continue the discovery of the city by visiting Menara, Koutoubia and the Majorelle gardens. Return to the Riad for dinner and sleep.
Day 3: Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
When you wake up, you have breakfast and put on comfortable clothes because you are going to discover the High Atlas Mountains. The first direction will be the Dades gorges, on the way you will not hesitate to take pictures especially when you arrive at the “Tizi N’tichka” pass.
You continue the road to the kasbah Ait Ben Haddou kasbah to admire the place and have lunch. Once you have mint tea, you get back in the vehicle to go see the Hollywood of Africa, Ouarzazate. Back to the road to see the Rose Valley and the Dades Valley, the latter will be your arrival point where you will have dinner and sleep.
Day 4: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga
After admiring the sunrise and having breakfast, you leave the place to go to the Todra Gorge. This place is famous for people who like to climb in the mountains. The nature there is breathtaking.
Then you will go to Erfoud and then Merzouga where you will rest in a charming room. Afterwards you will go for a camel ride on the sand dunes and watch a wonderful sunset. Once arrived at the camp, you will spend the night in a well equipped tent for your comfort.
Day 5: Vallée Du Ziz – Gorges Du Ziz – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
After waking up, you return to the hotel by camel to shower and have breakfast. Back to nature and more precisely the Ziz valley and its beautiful palm groves. Arrived in Midelt, you will have lunch and take the road back to Azrou to meet the monkeys in the cedar forest. No need to look for them, they will manage to find you alone!
You will then visit Ifrane, such a beautiful, organized and very clean town. At the end of the day, you will already be in Fez where you will put your luggage in a riad, then enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner and sleep.
Day 6: Full day in Fez
Your riad is already in the old medina, so you won’t need to get in the vehicle. You will spend an incredible day in a city like no other. Just follow your guide who will show you the most beautiful sights like the Madrasa Al Qarawiyin, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, Mellah, Batha, the royal palace and other nice places. You return to the riad at the end of the day to sleep.
Day 7: Fes – Meknes – Volubilis – Ouazan – Chefchaouen
Leave Fez early in the morning in the direction of Chefchaouen, but you will visit many places before arriving. You will have the opportunity to discover Meknes and visit Bab ansour and Lehdim square, and then visit a very old place (25 years BC), which will remind you of the Roman culture, it is Volubilis. You will arrive in Chefchaouen in the evening, you will settle down in a hotel.
Day 8: Chefchaouen – Tangier
Prepare to discover the blue city, Chefchaouen. All the walls are painted in white and blue, colours that remind you of the sea and the sky. You will have lunch in a small restaurant and head back to Tangier where you will spend the last night of the tour.
