This tour will allow you to enjoy the magnificent landscapes of southern Morocco, to discover the true Berbers and to visit the most famous and beautiful Kasbahs of Morocco.
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi-n-Tichka – Kasbah of Telouet – Ait ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Crossing the Tizi-n-tishka pass (2260 meters) and taking the old caravan road, we will make our first big stop to see the kasbah of Telouet, accompanied by a professional local guide.
After this visit, we will continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains to reach the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where we will have the opportunity to admire the unique architectural design of its walls and huge towers up close with an official local guide .
This kasbah was once considered one of the most important fortresses and the most important caravan center coming from the sahara . It is also one of the best locations for international film shooting, recommended by the most famous film directors from all over the world. After visiting the kasbah we will rest and have lunch on site.
You will have the choice between two options, either to sleep in the village of Ait Ben Haddou, or to continue the road to Ouarzazate to spend the night. In any case, we will be in Ouarzazate on the second day.
Day Two: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Taourirt- Kasbah tifoultout – Oasis of Fint – Marrakech
Just after a comforting breakfast, You will start the day in the old kasbah of Ouarzazate, called Taourirt. It is located in the center of Ouarzazate with an exceptional panoramic view. Afterwards, you can have a look at the film museum just opposite. Our next stop will be the kasbah of Tifoultout, a very old fortress that belonged to the El Glaoui family and still preserves the majesty of the past.
We then continue our journey to the Oasis of Fint, where you will have time to explore the calm and peaceful Oasis on the river with your guide, and discover the local life of the friendly locals. At this time you will certainly be hungry, so it will be time to enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant, (Alternatively you can wait for us to return to Ouarzazate for lunch).
In the afternoon, we will drive back to Marrakech . And this is how this impressive tour in the south of Morocco will end.
