It is a very interesting tour to discover the Atlas Mountains, beautiful Marrakech, Taroudant and Essaouira.
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
A guide will be at the exit of the airport of Marrakech to accompany you to the hotel or Riad. You will rest, dine and sleep.
Day 2: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains
You will have breakfast at the hotel and you will discover Marrakech, some places are unmistakable like the Menara, the Bahia palace, the Koutoubia mosque and the Jamaa Lafna square.
You will then discover the Atlas Mountains. You will start with the plateau of Kik, the road of Tizin’test and then the village of Asni located at more than 1000 m of altitude. You continue the way towards a splendid landscape where you will admire the marriage of colors, the view will take you far away from your daily life in the center of the city. You will pass through several Berber villages surrounded by fields of olives and cereals. You will finally arrive at the High Atlas, it is the perfect place to rest, breathe the fresh air, eat healthy and spend a night.
Day 3: Atlas Mountains – Essaouira
After breakfast, your next direction will be Essaouira, called Mogador. The city is very well known for its beaches and beautiful sea, here you can go for a ride on the beach on camels. What a charming experience! For lunch you will be offered a good plate of grilled fish, you can’t ask for another meal in such a coastal town.
After lunch, your guide will take you to visit the ancient city, you will see the old port, the art galleries, the market and the medina. It’s normal to meet the painters in the street, that’s Essaouira! At the end of the evening you return to the hotel to sleep.
Day 4: Essaouira – Taroudant
After breakfast, departure to Taroudant known by Berber carpets. Followed by Taliounie, the argan village and the famous saffron. You will make a stop in the small town of Ouled Berhil, then continue to Taroudant.
Day 5: Taroudant – Marrakech
You will wake up early in the morning to have breakfast and leave Taroudant for the red city of Marrakech. You will cross Ait Ben Haddou where you will pass by its famous kasbah, where you will have lunch in a small restaurant.
Afterwards, you continue the road to Marrakech through the Draa Valley. Sublime landscapes to meet on the way to arrive in late afternoon in Marrakech where you will spend the night.
